While the cuisine at Couture tempts the palate and calls up the gourmet in all of us -- we know that every so often our taste buds yearn to explore, to be piqued with different fare. So we're providing some nourishing suggestions.

Carnegie Deli, 702-791-7223, New York Style Deli. Easy, $16 plus a $2 split charge and you and a friend can split a "Woody Allen". Corned Beef and Pastrami piled high. It's tasty and priced right at about $8 each when you split the bill.  You might just race out of the Mirage with a bill below $20.
 
Pink's Hot Dogs at Planet Hollywood Hotel Las Vegas It's a hot dog joint that has survived by delivering late night eats in Los Angeles. What gets lost on the novelty of eating at Pink?s Hot Dogs is that they have some great food. This is a cheap meal and you'll want to come back a few times just to indulge your cravings.

For those who have been unsuccessful securing a reservation at the New York City outpost of this popular Italian restaurant, Il Mulino at Caesar's is a great opportunity to get a taste of amazing Italian fare without the wait list. The charming, Italian accented waiters make you feel like you're dining in the Italian countryside. They also offer outdoor seating and a private dining room
is available for an intimate group dinner.
 
For those who want to venture beyond the Las Vegas strip, head to Raku Grill.  This unassuming Japanese restaurant about a five minute cab ride from the Wynn enjoy some delicious food fresh off the charcoal grill. (closed Sundays)
 
Double-Double. Yes, they have them in Las Vegas... Exercise early and then head over for breakfast!

Just In Case You Forgot to Bring. Fashion Mall, right across the street from the Wynn, has a Hawaiian ABC Store outpost. It's the most reasonably priced place on Couture's end of the strip to pick up the essentials like toothpaste, deodorant, red bull, pistachios, liquor.....spare yourself the next-day remorse of a late night trip to your mini bar by stocking up in advance!
